  • Dr. Weinberger's practice is focused on providing excellence in orthodontic and pediatric care for children and adolescents, His training as both a pediatric dentist and orthodontist positions him to diagnose and treat children at the most advantageous time of growth and development.

  • There are three types of professionals that can provide you orthodontic treatment: Dentists, Orthodontists, and Board Certified Orthodontists. As a patient, it is important for you to choose a professional that has proven they can provide the highest quality of orthodontic care possible. Only a Board Certified Orthodontist has done this by completing the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) Certification. Here’s what you should know about ABO Certification:

    Only 1 in 3 orthodontists     have completed their Board Certification. Completing the ABO certification process signifies a unique achievement.

    Board certification is a voluntary achievement that requires significant effort and expertise to pursue.

    Board certification is a rigorous 3-part process consisting of written testing, oral testing, and oral defense before a panel of examiners of cases treated and finished to the high standards of the American Board of Orthodontics.

    The American Board of Orthodontics is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.

  • Dr. Weinberger is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

    When a Pediatric Dentist is Board Certified it means that the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry or ABPD certifies that the dental care being provided is based on standards of excellence that lead to high quality oral health care for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special health care needs.

    Certification by the ABPD provides assurance to the public that a Pediatric Dentist like Dr. Weinberger has successfully completed accredited training and a voluntary examination process designed to continually validate the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to the delivery of quality patient care.

  • While many patients are referred by their family dentist, a referral is not necessary. Please just give us a call and we will be happy to answer your questions.

  • We are happy to work with any private insurance plans you have. Payment plans are available.

Dr. Sergio J. Weinberger

Dr. Weinberger was born in Uruguay, a beautiful small country in South America. He graduated from Dental School in Gudalajara Mexico as the Gold Medal Winner of his graduating class. He then attended The University of Maryland for a further 2 years of training in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Weinberger then moved to Canada and became an Associate Professor with tenure in the Division of Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario.

He is a Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics. He is an American Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and an American Board Certified Orthodontist.

He is actively involved in research at The Children’s Hospital of Southwestern Ontario. Dr. Weinberger is married, with 6 children and 5 dogs. He hates to cook, but loves to eat. He is an awesome motorcycle driver.
